Professor Michiko Suzuki has been awarded the 2019-20 Japan Foundation Japanese Studies Research (Long-Term) Fellowship. This is a prestigious fellowship in the field of Japan studies that enables recipients to conduct long-term research in Japan. She will be in Japan for six months in 2020 working on her book about the representation of kimonos in modern Japanese literature and film.
