About 200 students, faculty, and staff from all over campus attended the event, held on February 21, 2018. A variety of activities such as live music, student artwork displays, and interactive games showcased the richness of Chinese culture. East Asian Languages and Cultures interim department chair Professor Michael Foster, Davis Language Center director Professor Robert Blake, and Chinese Language Program director Professor Chengzhi Chu delivered opening remarks. The event was organized by student volunteers, with support from Chinese language teachers. It was co-sponsored by the Davis Language Center, East Asian Studies Program, and Confucius Institute at UC Davis.
